Precedents were set years ago Den, if you're a club that can afford better lawyers than the football authorities, you'll get away with it.

Then perhaps get rid of the governing body and replace it with a new one that stands its ground and applies the rules without backtracking all the time.

Quite agree, as do probably many others. If only it was that easy though

So their "penalty" is to be allowed to earn an extra £150-200m.

The reality is if City had a two-year ban, they would have been looking at somewhere between £150-200m of lost prize money through the Champions League.

It was UEFA that tried to impose a ban, it was CAS(Court of Arbitration for Sport ) that overturned it.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
With Fulham drawing with WBA, they no longer challenge Leeds for promotion (Fulham are 7 points behind Leeds, and they only have 2 matches to play).
Brentford are 6 points behind Leeds with a better goal difference, but like Leeds, have 3 matches left.
Nailbiting stuff.

We (my wife and I) have bets each year on promotion & relegation from the championship (only).
For the record, Notts County do have a good chance in the play-offs.

Thanks for the info Den, but I don't think I'll bother putting any offers in this time around
