				On demand sound issues?

Watching SWAT ssn 2 episodes 16 and 17 on demand and we've got some strange sound syncing issues.
Audio from further into the programmes are getting spliced into the live stream.

Is this a fault in the content provided to Virgin or going to be an issue with the V6 box?

Can anybody take a look at the streams on their boxes to see whose end the issue is at?

At what time does the problem happen? I've just had a quick scan through ep16, but it seems OK.
Also, is it HD or SD?

			We get served an advert.
 Then the Sky one Ident.

The first portion of the episode has an issue.

 Then an ad is served.

For the remainder of the episode the sound is fine.

 I'm presuming it's HD

Oh, so it may be an ad-insertion problem. How long does it play for before the second advert? (I just get 2 adverts right at the start before the Sky One Ident, and none in the middle)
Try changing the Dolby setting on your V6 to see if that stops it happening.

We're constantly getting an advert where the episodes first ad break would be.
Though we're just catching the end of an episode (18)

this time We got also got the programme Ident 10 minutes before the end and then sound had gone all wrong again.

I'm agreeing that whatever tech they're using to serve adverts may be causing the issue.

It's almost rendering the programmes unwatchable.

I've been getting the same today on a different program, it seems as if another audio stream is being played. It's only happening in a few parts.

Is it a sky programme SPJ? Or one from another channel?

Well we had episode 19 work fine. No ad was served throughout the whole episode.
Episode 20 we had sound issues up to 20 minutes when we got an ad for the Open University.

It's got to be the advertising provision.

As I suggested before, please try changing the Dolby setting on the V6 and see if that makes the problem go away

Changed from Dolby digital to solve b digital to PCM and it doesn't make a difference.
