My sister saw her yesterday, she was on the phone to me in tears as she was allowed to stand outside like me.

Today I took some magazines for her and the care home, let me stand in the doorway of her room and speak to her for 30 minutes, boy was it emotional.

When I got home I upgraded her phone contract (which I got for both my parents) as she was eating the minutes and data, so now she has unlimited Text & calls and 2GB of data.
 | Sounds like a hard visit Hom3r but your Mother is safe and it looks like the care home are trying to make things easier for you in these desperate times.

<<hugs>>

We got a slot booked today for delivery on Saturday from Asda. Last Wednesday got a slot on Wednesday for delivery the following day.

It's good that delivery slot seem easier to get now, for those that may need them.

 | From what l can ascertain Morrisons tend to have some slots for 3 weeks ahead around 6-7 in the morning , Asda no slots at all for down here for 5 to 6 weeks now , Sainsbury's and Waitrose are delivering to extremely vulnerable customers only as they are in the 1.5 million extremely vulnerable person group which is understandable , Tesco any slots with them tend to be from around midnight onwards.

Iceland don't go as far ahead as the other supermarkets in their delivery slots.

Was digging around in an old memory stick and found a photo of me 7 years ago when I was likely at my thinnest ever as an adult.
Spliced it earlier with a modern day photo and now use it as my home workout motivation.

There’s a retail park close to where I live and just about every time I’ve been there I always see these 2 ducks together. No idea why they’re always there, I live close to the Bay but I’ve never seen any other ducks around the place. Anyway I went over this morning and there they were again so I decided to grab a photo of them.

Did my first Zoom* video call with my sister this morning. Nice to chat and actually see the person you're talking to. Seeing as it's likely to be some time before I can go and visit her in East Sussex.
I was going to meet up with her for lunch the week the lockdown came into effect.

 * Free version running under W7 Pro on the HP i3 laptop, she was on her iPad.

Looking forward to our second family quiz night over Skype.
There's 5 of us, and we each have 10 questions.

After 3 rounds we have a break to top up the booze, the one advantage is that we don't have to drive home.
