Re: Coronavirus

Just received an email from Kennedy Space Centre (I asked for a refund on 4 tickets and parking, due to them closing for an indefinite period from 16th March, and our tickets were for the 19th March - didn’t feel the need to point out we weren’t in the USA on this date...).

Thought CF-er’s might find this amusing.

Quote:
Thank you for your interest in Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and for your recent purchase. Out of an abundance of extreme caution and in the best interest of our guests and crewmembers, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is temporarily closed as of March 16, 2020 until further notice. As always, the health and safety of our employees and guests is the highest priority for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Based on this closure, we are in the process of contact you in hopes of either refunding your reservation or to postponing to later date. Per PCI Compliance, we are unable to maintain credit card data, which is why we are reaching out. We understand that due to the time difference it may be difficult to reach each other. Attached you will find out Credit Card Authorization, please complete the form and Fax it. We are unable to accept this form via email per our PCI compliance.

We thank you for your support and patronage of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. We do hope for an opportunity to have you visit with us in the near future.

Aye, they've gone further than even Corbyn wanted to, but I applaud them for doing the right thing.

Who the hell has a fax machine these days! I wonder if it's designed to put you off from claiming??

ISTR that there are/were sites online where you basically sent an email to a fax machine and it came out the other end as a fax. Maybe this would enable you to do it this way Hugh?

I understand it, but as China seem to have cracked this in 3no. Months, I would hope we see things getting back to normal by June.
