If this is not the case then streaming would be a big disappointment for me!

Understood, and technically there is nothing to prevent you from doing so. Whether Amazon will or not is another question.

Raider - try it. Amazon Prime is excellent for the tennis. You can watch live, with pause, fast forward etc. As soon as a match is finished there is a full replay available, you can start anywhere, anytime in the replay and can FF through the breaks.

Thoroughly enjoyed 4 or 5 Andy Murray matches last week on Amazon.

Not interested in Tennis, will wait for December to try for a months free trial for the Premier League trial, however your experiences bode well for my requirements

BT certainly have a bigger fight on their hands that is for sure and one outcome which l believe will transpire from it will be the return of some UCL football to FTA in my view.

Interesting in the sense it will benefit UEFA to have free to air games on ITV

Doubt Sky will enter the bidding even though they are now owned by Comcast

But UEFA have made it clear that they want some of the rights to be seen by a bigger audience which they see as future FTA coverage.

Only a few years since ITV had one game per round live - certainly wouldn't harm for UEFA to insist this happens this time round.

Not sure why they are allowed to sell all the rights to 1 bidder when the Premier League were forced to split the rights to prevent a monopoly?

But PL does got FTA - and it UEFA were forces to split I still can't see FTA winning a bid.

Forcing the split just means the customer has to pay more for all.

 Have I missed something?

All live PL matches are on pay platforms (Sky, BT and Amazon Prime) - I don't count highlights, nor do most others when discussing rights.

If UEFA want larger audience for their product then offering a 1 live game a week package to FTA platforms only is easily achievable without reducing the revenues that much if at all.

I meant to say "But PL doesn't go to FTA".

I'm sure UEFA would prefer more money than more viewers - when the offers are in.
