 | Sky Sports red button coverage isn't in the EPG at all. The slate that's displayed when nothing else is on is basically just an application that's under Sky's control.

 | The EPG data is supplied by an external company, Gracenote. They update the data when any of the broadcasters tell them there's been a change.

Sky supply and operate their red button application, but there is no mechanism for it to schedule recordings.

It's a pity that we cannot also have red button channels set up for these broadcasts by Sky, as we do for major BBC sports events like Wimbledon.
