Mine is set to 20/40 for 5Ghz is that bad, could it be better changing it to something else?

For Baz it may also be worth disabling channel optimisation.

No, 20/40 should be fine.. 80 when used in conjunction with DFS is a real PITA

thanks very much guys i'll look into that when I get my head strait mine is a hub 3 just couldn't understand how my ipad could pic up wifi in the back garden yet tv cant pick it up in the same room, guess that's modern technology for you!!

I once had this issue on the PS4 where wifi couldn't connect and i had to turn the Firewall off briefly and or a Hub3 reboot.

I've never used anything like that i always use the wifi password which would do the same thing.
