If select the page "about:studies", you can see if the study has been applied. Keep refreshing that page and restart when it has. You might miss the 6 hourly update and have to wait until the next one.

Yes done all that and it is the latest, not bothered now I prefer Vivaldi and all the addons I use work with it.

I sometimes use Opera now, doesn't seem as resource greedy as FF. I might give Vivaldi a look as well.

I used to use Opera donkeys years ago, i believe it was then sold to a Chinese company and some of the old Opera guys started up Vivaldi.

Firefox is now working as it got updated to 66.0.4, although i initialised it from the menu.
Still going to stick it out with Vivaldi though, i have got it looking exactly how i like it and the speed dial is nice.

Out of interest what is wrong with Chrome?
I used to use Chrome but moved away from it to FF and now it looks like i have moved to Vivaldi and the only things related to Chrome is it uses the Chrome Addons and the Chromium rendering engine which are not bad things in my opinion.
