However, they will struggle to get a foothold in the UK without access to the major platforms and so I think they will probably shut down their UK operations at some point.

Your Most intelligent post for ages OB.

As Eleven a Sports are established overseas it highlights how difficult it is for a streamer to break into the UK sports market

 | Those with deep pockets will only succeed such as beIN Sports, the only reason ESPN UK shut down there operation was because of how much BT bid for the Premier League rights.

I see that Premier Sports has done an deal with BT Sport to use BT Sport SPFL workers for Scottish Cup games on Premier Sports.

			STV Player options this weekend are:Sat 26th @ 7.30pm - AC Milan v Napoli
 Sun 27th @ 7.45pm - Espanyol v Real Madrid

Does the STV Player on the V6 offer live games?

It doesn’t work on the V6.
For other platforms like Roku or iOS you don’t have to live in Scotland to download the STV app. You may have to register an email address and input a postcode. If anyone is interested the postcode for Glasgow Central Station is G1 3SL. |
