Getting a tad fed up with asking that we stick to the topic of Coming Soon to Virgin TV. Past history hardly fits future issues.

TSID 36 is running quite light, maxing at 30 Mb/sec out of a capacity of 51 in the DVB spec. Easily get a couple of HD channels in there, over and above the space already identified.

I believe it is a reference to recordings already on the box, which you no longer have a sub for - is this actually the case? I would like to know as I don't want to be left with Premier Sports recordings I cannot watch

For channels that have been removed from the VM network, recordings remain accessible for three months.

It is only recordings from the Sky-owned channels that you can't watch after unsubscribing.

The EPG data for this 4K test says “channel coming soon”. Quite an achievement given the bandwidth constraints.
From the screen grab I’m guessing Love Nature.

			Compared to several days ago.
TS streams down from 48 to 47

Total services down from 496 to 473

Something to ponder for those who know all about that. What does it all mean, anything significant?

 | That if these trends continue Virgin Media will cease broadcasting television on 19th January 2019.

In practice nothing meaningful can be taken from that without knowing what frequency and what was on it.

Nothing new in today’s scan except the HD version of the Box Office (named ITV PPV HD in the NAT, but it has been used for Sky events) has disappeared. Not unusual when the event (Summerslam) isn’t in HD on Virgin. I’m sure it’ll be back for GGG v Canelo.
It’s almost as if Virgin can turn on (and off) broadcasts on their network with impunity. The wonders of technology.
