I've not yet had my cable setup installed but have a question that hopefully can easily be answered.
The actual 'virgin cable' route will be fine to where my existing router is but will the V6 box (in another room) then be able to be run off an existing home network (wired) or would it need to have another 'virgin cable' to the TV location?
The reason for asking this is that the cable TV route may be problematic so I was hoping for the easier existing option.
On a totally different tangent, has anyone got a photo of the connection boxes where it enters the house etc.
All Virgin Media equipment requires connection to the cable network by co-ax.
In addition, V6 requires connection to your home network Superhub, either Ethernet (direct Ethernet cable or powerline adapters) or WiFi.
I'm presuming it's the FTTP flavour as the street as the road has only just been cabled up.
Does this white internal wallbox connect directly to the router and the phone?

Yes that's an RFOG power inserter, one RG6 for power in and one RG6 with the signal out. It can then be split from the input line to multiple legs to feed whichever combination of equipment you are having installed.
