Living TV, then Sky Living always sounded like a lifestyle tv channel. As it shows a lot of crime related stuff, I guess Sky wanted this name to compete with Alibi.

Nobody is questioning the BBC's ability to churn out good original drama.

However, I thought we were talking about the Drama Channel.

Can anyone confirmed if WWE Money in the Bank will be shown on V+ HD boxes this weekend as Channel 0 has not been updated since late April.

And also I have found that the information screens on the home page of the V+ HD boxes has been updated in Weeks.

No new channels launch in Months.

They were clearly better than the stuff of today. In as much as I take little to no interest in them too I find myself watching them from time to time if I can get a hold of episodes on thing like soap operas. (Yes, I am that much of a dweeb of a loser - watching old re-runs of soaps).

Today's output, for example, includes Casualty, Juliet Bravo, The Bill, Lovejoy, Last of the Summer Wine, Hi-de-Hi, Are you Being Served, London's Burning, Soldier, Soldier, Lovejoy, Judge John Deed, New Tricks, Birds of a Feather. So the programming itself is not bad, but most of it is old or the formats are looking rather tired these days. Worth keeping an eye on for the occasional goodie though, particularly at weekends.

All of that used to be shown on the old UK Gold format before they moved to just GOLD, right? Then they lost the drama and some of it moved to "w" like The Bill, but the old re-runs of neighbours and Eastenders did stop which kind of pissed me off.

The rest (if they have a finite ending) are usually available on DVD, right? (Comedies etc). The copyrights on soaps is tough to get round, though.

VM's website says the V6 box now has added features including the ability to watch recordings at an increased speed (Quick View).

EDIT: found it. You press OK once a recording has started playing, then press OK again to turn Quick View on. It's a very interesting feature... watch a 30 minute programme in just 20 minutes!

Not sure what use this is as you won`t get any sound just a fast forward wind!

You're wrong. It's not the same as fast forward. The audio is played at an increased speed, and the pitch is adjusted, so it doesn't go all squeaky.
