				Sky Renumbering.

Apparently they decided to renumber a whole load of channels yesterday, as my other half has discovered today. They sure kept that quiet.

Not an fan of the 800s channels numbers. Did Sky copy NTL?

But the +1 channels being together is an good idea I have copy Sky on my Freeview HD TV Set.

 | The 800s are duplicates of those channels lower down though, so there no programmes that you wont have seen elsewhere. It means you have more channel choice in the lower numbers.

They did also have a temporary channel on 100 but that got removed pretty sharpish. I also think I got an email about it last week...

I dont know if I have any kind of e-mail as I havent checked that since Monday.

Only sending one on the day would be very poor promotion.

My family watch sky a lot and no one has noticed a single mention of this in any breaks between programmes (or during them).

Its quite aggravating....... My cable company was GOOD at least on the andlogue tier... They didnt ever re-assign them to different numbers..... (MTV was assigned to 57 as long as I remember)

They have dropped all analog assignments now... (It wasnt analog anyway since early 2000s I think.... Just digital converted to analog for the analogue tier)
