I always thought he'd be the US's version of Blair but maybe he's not quite that bad.

It's probably Hilton trying to make an impact. Most of the criticisms people had of Obama would be that he was aloof in meetings, sitting back whilst others talked, and reluctant to make decisions. I am not sure how much of that is true either but people have said that more than he shut people down.

Bannon is stepping down from the fake news company he chaired.

Steve Bannon is stepping down from his role as executive chairman at Breitbart News, the website has confirmed.
The website said in an announcement featured on its front page that Mr Bannon and the news website will work together "on a smooth and orderly transition". Mr Bannon was serving as executive chairman, a post he first took up in 2012.

Weird thing about Bannon is that he seems to have been the most press friendly guy in the campaign despite claiming to hate the liberal media. He was clearly leaking a lot of stuff.

I read court documents the other night, how Fusion GPS have tried four different avenues to block Congressional subpoenas in to their bank transactions by filing a lawsuit and that was about 26 pages long. Judge dismissed their case, said did not have the authority to block the scope of the investigatory powers that Congress has granted to them under the Constitution.

According to Wolff, many in the White House were leaking a lot of stuff to the mainstream media. The trick of attacking the mainstream media was ironically what got Wolff his access in the White House too.

Apparently, Trump has told people they're either with him or Bannon but not both. Hence most - like the Breitbart funders - have ditched Bannon.
