Checking the app tells you this. Chad has already stated how much content will be on. I don't mean it's a channel showing all Sky Atlantic content 24hrs before it airs just selected content.
 | Thanks for clarifying.

A new sports channel is said to be launching on one of the temporary Freeview muxes on 31/8/17.

It is to be called 'Freesports' and designed "to bring all your favourite sports to Freeview".

Setanta are believed to be behind this. Aren't they owned by Eir Sport now?

Wonder if VM will pick this up?

 | Wikipedia (Only info we can find) say that Premier Sports is own by Premier Media.

Setanta was took over by Eir some years ago (Eir is something like BT).

We found that Premier Sports do broadcast Eir Sport (With Irish ads) when broadcasting live football.

Maybe Freesports will launch on Virgin TV later this year with Premier Sports HD.

We think due to Premier Sports launching on Virgin Media in October 2013.

http://mediaboyblog.blogspot.co.uk/2...l-premier.html | Cheers MB. I wonder if Premier Media is a trading name for Setanta?? They may have wished to distance themselves from the Setanta branding following the collapse of Setanta UK.

The owners can go into administration one day then buy an channel number on Sky from an administrator and relaunch under an new name that an later date.

		| The Telegraph reports that negotiations with Virgin Media over carriage of ITV2 in August could be extended to cover the main ITV channel. A failure to reach an agreement could lead to Virgin Media viewers having to switch to Freeview, satellite or online streaming to continue watching ITV channels. | |

Maybe VM need to add TV Player to their apps, or maybe You View, to avoid these charges and ensure that Virgin viewers without an aerial can still receive ITV programming.

 | The choice of name is amusing because back in 2003/4 a company called CBM said they were going to launch a channel on Freeview devoted to lower profile sports called Freesport which clearly never launched despite the talk.

Didnt the article say Liberty Global are major shareholders of ITV if thats the case surely they would not want to upset their shareholders by forcing Virgins hand or would it not be take the money out of one hand and give it to the other??
