Username and passwords to a new laptop
I bought a new laptop today and i wish to move my usernames and passwords for websites to the new system.
Now i usually use firefox sync and its never failed me before but now for some reason its copied everything except for my username and passwords accross.
Anyone have any idea how i can copy these in bulk and i dont wanna go through them one at a time.
Thanks.

Re: Username and passwords to a new laptop
Did you check the box on firefox for the usernames/passwords?

Re: Username and passwords to a new laptop
There are Firefox addons you can install that will allow you to export all the username and passwords to a file to import on the new computer. Some of them also encrypt (I use the term lightly) the data so if someone came across a copy of the exported file they cannot read the passwords. You should be commended for using different passwords on different sites, it's a rare thing to see beyond those with password managers. Stops people re-using passwords like ilmarie5 on each and every site as it fulfils the 'must contain a number' criteria and is easy to remember :P
