Insurance companies, my car insurance is due.
Admiral quoted £100 more than last year, nothings changed in the last year.

So I phoned up and they knocked £100 off, as im a valued customer.

Why not give me the lower quote to start?

Because it is geared to getting new custom. You have to be prepared to at least haggle, or attempt to. My grandmother always does and generally gets a bit knocked off because she plays the OAP card.

My deaf neighbour, who has his TV cranked up to full volume until the wee small hours every night, and has recently taken to shouting at it. Seriously people, if you like your entertainment loud, please spare a thought for people who have a job and need to get up in the mornings.

I have a raging ear infection. GP says this is why my hearing went funny last night. On Clarithamycin for it as Amoxicillin gave me a rather severe headache last time.

 | Does your employer offer 'death in service' benefits?

My current one does, which was a factor in accepting the job - 4 x annual salary.

Only charging Mrs K £200 cash in hand, so she's made a right saving there. Think I'll her test the shower first |
