 | amazon for a few quid on virgin media would make up for all the rubbish price increases... but i very much doubt we'll get any discount!

If this turns out to be true, I wonder if Amazon will also discount their product?

Certainly a great month for VM - 4G finally released, Amazon on its way and a new box on soft launch.
I suspect December will be a quiet month for everyone except theone2k10 who will be wondering how he can slip in a yuletide quip about price rises.

For the past 2 years Amazon have offered a price cut in the annual subscription in the week leading up to their Black Friday sale. Last year it was £59.00 for a full years worth of Prime.

Well worth putting the money aside over the next 2 weeks in anticipation of another price drop. Works out at £4.92 per month, a saving of £20.00.

 | You were able to apply the six month credit to an existing Netflix account.

Well worth putting the money aside over the next 2 weeks in anticipation of another price drop. Works out at £4.92 per month, a saving of £20.00. | And if you have access to a student/academic email address (ending in .ac.uk) you get Amazon Prime half price (just under £40) per year, which includes Amazon Video, Amazon Music, and unlimited cloud storage for photos.

Bargain!

I will see if any sources have any info about possible deals and reveal what i can subject to DNPs.

Tivo will be the only VM box to support it though it will not be on the VHD (do they still issue this box?).

For me even at full price Amazon Prime is pretty good value that said I would like to see them add more Original content to their streaming library it seems a little things on the ground.

Thats what put me of not enough original content but they seem to be working on that. Another thing I did not like was that some of the films and programmes were at an additional cost and not included in the prime subscription. I prefer Netflix but thats just my preference although at the moment I do not use netflix through the Tivo due to speed issue but hopefully that will be sorted soon one way or the other.
