Problem removing series link

I Have been tidying up my series links and managed to delete all the old links except one and this has updating next to it for 24 hours. I've tried turning the box off and on but has made no difference.

Anyone got any advice please?

Try rebooting the box as that might solve it possibly.

Perhaps Spiderplant or Ben might be able to help you more.

Joanna Lumley is immortal. No way can she be deleted, that's your problem.

Re: Problem removing series link

Having you tried moving 1st in the list down to 2nd? That should force the "updating" process to start again. That might clear it. I think I've had the same problem before and it didn't need a reboot.

Tried that. Didn't work. I even changed it to number 1, it moved to the top all the others update. It stayed there for awhile still up dating then jumped back to number 5

Re: Problem removing series link

Various niggling anomalies have been reported since the update, I suspect that this is just another manifestation.

I'm afraid I don't know how to cure it though.

Re: Problem removing series link

If you only have 8 series links, I would try the complete removal of them all through the menu system.

Well, I wouldn't worry about it, chrispy. I've never amended my series links and the list is now huge!

If the recording options are set to 'new only', it won't actually record again as this was a one off series.
