The end of the SKY+ Box

As of today the SKY+ box is no longer available to new subscribers. Anyone joining SKY today onwards will get a SKYQ box with their chosen bundle. Pretty much SKYQ as standard.http://www.sky.com/shop/sky-bundles/ |

Had to happen ,seems silly running 2 services parallel to each other especially when one service is so much better than the other

As to which one is "so much better", thats a matter of opinion.
Nothing Ive seen about SkyQ so far makes it looker better for me.

Does this mean the Q box is free or does free still apply to the Sky+ box?

I didn't get one yesterday? I did ask the agency installer who said they weren't yet standard kit thus installing a Sky+ box. Should I call in?

It depends what you ordered and how you did it , you don't live in flats and are on a communal dish are you. You could certainly call and ask the question.

Sorry for the late response. I did call in to get a reply of which I got because I'm in a flat I cannot get Sky Q. I'm not on a communal dish but that doesn't matter apparently so standard Sky+ box for me.
