That bit on the right is what I usually get on switch on... and they can't find the cause of it after over a year!

I'd sell that to the Tate Modern.

Upstream power level goes to 54 dBmv on the Super Hub 2. So then, the Internet does not work along with that the TiVo box light starts flashing, but the picture and sound does not break up ever, but on demand stuff doesn't work. I am on a 22 tap point in my cabinet, second from botton, I am about I would say 100 metres away.

Should I really been on the top tap 15 or a 18?

Re: How does my connection look?

Your downstream power levels are fine. On the button. I don't know what your upstream levels normally are. If you are on the 22 dB tap, then I'd imagine it normally to be around 50 dBmv. So taking you down to 15 dB might be benficial in the long run but then a 3 dB Forward Path Attenuator would be advisable, imo.

If the upstream power level goes to 54 dBmv, then in conjunction with the red on the BQM, it seems to me that there is noise on the upstream. If both Tivo and Internet stop working, that confirms a circuit issue.

The noise has to be removed.

Hi,

Thanks for replying to my post.

How would Virgin find out the cause of the problem like noise on the upstream? Would it be hard to pin point?
