We do not all want to leave the United Kingdom , this annoys me when we get a comment saying" Let them go" I love being part of Britain and want to stay like this, But Nicola and her hunt to go down in history as the one to break us up, just like Salmond, really gets me angry. IF Scotland DO get their second referendum so soon after the last one and choose to leave, they won't be a part of the EU, they'd be pushed to the back of the queue, AND when their oil runs out in a few years, they'll be begging to come back to the UK.

Don't get me started on how it seems OKAY for Scotland to have a national party, but it's somehow "racist" for England to have one

The SNP won't call one unless they've been assured on entry into the EU. My guess is they want to inherit the UK's terms of membership.

Well Salmond was told two years ago that the EU won't hold any discussions with a region of a member state, it's likely Sturgeon be told to go and play in the corner whilst the grownups talk.

Almost all of Scotland did not vote to remain. The actual figure was 62%, and while thats a majority, its a long way from "almost all".

Whilst I don't think another independence is a guaranteed win for the snp and as much as I like the Scottish friends I have I have no desire to go through another hateful campaign which is what we will get and if Scotland does get another independence referendum then the rest of the uk should get one as well asking if we want Scotland as part of the union anymore. This is just not going to stop the snp will jump on any excuse to go for it and continually create more Ill will on both sides of the border.

I think we need to take the threat seriously. We almost got burnt last time by underestimating the support for independence and this time the message will be far more potent. Serious Unionists from last time are currently supportive of the idea at the moment.

An Scotland only had a 60% turnout, so only 60% of those that voted wanted to remain 40% of those that voted wanted to leave, and 40% of the 100% eligible to vote didn't care if they leave or remain so didn't bother to vote.

It's looking the same for the under 25's now crying their future has been stolen. They had a very low turnout in the age group. It doesn't stop Remainers declaring 70% of under 25's wanted to remain.. NO!!!! 70% of the 30% of people in the age group that bothered to to vote, so 70% didn't care enough to vote.

This whole thing is now London centric, only London counts the rest of us can rot.

9% leave

it was the baby boomers hobbling down to vote on their zimmer frames that stole their future

Yes this "stole our future" is popping up more and more but as the figures show the majority weren't that bothered about their future to take half an hour to vote for their future. In the past on this forum I've defended the younger generations when they have been accused of not working hard enough and so on but this time I'm sorry but they are sounding like entitled brats who are having a hissy fit because they didn't get what they want. That's not even touching the insult of us older people not giving a thought to the futures of our kids and grandkids which is completely ridiculous.

Vote was done leave won and it isn't going to be ignored or reversed so it's time to get behind the country or go off and sulk quietly but give the whining a rest.
