The support software is there anyway.

It's like if I launch a new website and send you a link. You don't need to upgrade your browser to visit it - you just go there.

Ahhh right. Thanks for explaining, I was thinking that each app required it's own specific support.

No, it really won't. The apps only get loaded into memory when you use them.

The testing reports do not come from VM insiders, they are just people plugging their DTC TVs into their VM cable connection.

We think Virgin Media UK might go after the following "Virgin Media Ireland only channels":

-History HD
-Crime + Investigation HD
-MTV Classic
-Disney Channel HD

We can't Virgin Media UK going after:

-RT (Russia Today)
-Fashion TV
-EWTN
-UCB Ireland

We have no confirmed info on if this will happen - just our view

Bizasia says that Ofcom has given both NDTV India & NDTV Spice an Ofcom licence to launch in UK.

We think we may see an channel launch tonight as Virgin Media UK need to rebrand GINX (Channel 290) anyway.

I wish they would plug something decent, instead of all this garbage we seem to be getting!

That forum post only relates to Sky.

No mention of it leaving VM.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2016) Vol 2

MTV Live HD update:

MTV Live HD Europe may broadcast on Virgin Media UK.

DS Forum is reporting today that The Virgin Media EPG is also showing the international listings from Saturday 2nd July.

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...5&postcount=35

MB Views: If MTV Live HD becomes an Virgin Media only channel here in the UK and N. Ireland we think Viacom may have signed an new Europe deal with Liberty Global.

We may see the missing Viacom (Also Channel 5) channels coming very soon.

Most of the Viacom channels are utter rubbish in my opinion.
