Apology accepted although it was not necessary it was nice of you to do so.
There might be more many reasons of course. I put more info into my reason but then removed it hence the edit
I am glad that FTTC is going up to 52mbps as I want to drop down anyway.

Geez.. Is that an internet connection or a wet piece of string? Hard to see the difference.

My account now shows £9,99 for "homeworks + up to 300mbps"
Has there been a price drop?

Or its just Plusnet in general.
Here in Wales im yet to see a connection over 5mb on Plusnet.
A friend recently moved to them from Sky to save money, his line went from 11mb and he now has around 3.5mb and Plusnet says no problems can be found.

At least it's not traffic managed upload. Guess you're still on 16 QAM upstreams?

Re: Virgin Media Homeworks 300Mb
I haven't upgraded to the 300mbit package but Ive just found that my sync speed is 300bit down and 40 up, but capped at the 200mbit package I pay for. maybe virgin are starting to move people to 300mbit anyway.

That's the first time I have seen anyone synced higher than their line speed. Is this something new? I thought with VM you got the speed you synced at?
Igni! ?
