http://uk.freedompop.com/uk?experience=organic.default

anyone use it? I've only first heard of it today after seeing an ad on facebook. Seems like a too good to be true mobile provider, v cheap (free everything for first month)

the use 3g network, I don't use my phone v much so seems like a good choice.

Re: freedompop mobile

I know with these things there's always more bad comments than good, but it does seem like you have to be v careful with them, and make sure you check/uncheck the right boxes to not get billed for things you don't want

However I have read that if you don't use your phone that much, apart from the odd call, even if you do pay the 1.99 a month for "premium voice" it's still good value.

BUT, my phone is too old/cheap to run their apps, so by the time I add the cost of new handset, i may be better off getting a cheap virgin contract. (I'm on EE payg)

Change is happening. Contact EE.

http://www.which.co.uk/campaigns/mob...act-switching/

"Last year the mobile supplier responded to our Unlock Mobiles campaign by reducing the charge for unlocking phones by 50% to £8.99.

More than 75,000 of you have backed our campaign to get mobile phones unlocked for free, and now EE has decided to go whole hog.
