Re: Football Season 2015/2016
l was not a lover of Garde but the malaise of the club started before that in my view and his appointment just made a club which was already on the down spiral even more downhill sadly.
To be honest TD there is plenty of British dross at the club as well in my opinion and l think they will struggle even in the Championship unless the next manager they pick is of a good standard.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
It's not just the manager, it's the faceless goons behind the scenes picking players on recommendation and managers seemingly on a whim. Brian Little's involvement can only help steady the ship

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Yes they certainly need someone with good football experience who does his homework and who knows what a good player is and what is a load of rubbish.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Reports like this seem to crop up every week but in fairness this has come from Bild who are usually pretty well respected.
So please please please let this be true.......

The first one could possibly be true but l think we can dismiss the second one with a pinch of salt.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
A reliable "in the know" reporterd the Mourinho story during the week, it's taken a few days for the papers to pick up on it. They believe Ferguson has backed down over his opposition to Mourinho being manager and that even top 4 and the FA cup won't save LVG

Well done the ref, Vardy moved sideways into the defender to make contact for the dive.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
The trouble is referees don't do it consistently.

Indeed as Leicester didn't get a penalty after Huth was wrestled to the ground.
Also carroll gets away with elbowing again.

After the Vardy sending off l personally thought the referee lost the plot.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Obviously nothing to do with the cynical, cheating, diving, holding, elbowing players was it.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Leicester's second goal was certainly not a penalty in my opinion as the one before in the area was more obvious so he got both them wrong for starters.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
A matter of opinion of course, but if either of those fouls, especially the one by Carroll had taken place in the middle of the field then a free kick would have been awarded nine times out of ten, IMHO of course.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
But you said Carroll's tackle wasn't a pen and yet I contend that would have been given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch 90% of the time.
