Will this new F1 deal mean Sky will have to offer Sky sports mix to other tv providers thats what i would like to know as BT did when they got the Champions league as they had to provide a certain number of free to air games

 Cheers ofcom! Good work lads!
 | Nothing to do with Ofcom - it was an EC ruling that no longer applies. But the chances are that BT would have entered the market anyway regardless of the ruling in response to Sky entering the broadband market.

Hope the Murdock **** choke on it. They still won't get a penny off me.
 | Channel 4 must be disappointed after only just winning it.

I know that only BBC1, BBC2, ITV, CH4 and CH5 used to be covered by this. At least that was the case a few years ago, may have been amended after the digital switch over to channels with full UK coverage.

So how SKY are going to get round this is a mystery unless the legislation is changing. As far as I know PICK TV can not be picked up in certain areas.

 | I appreciate Wikipedia may not be accurate but according to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ofco...ignated_Events it is not listed as a crown jewel

It is also states nothing about having to be on the those channels, just being free to air and since digital switchover pick tv would satisfy this requirement

as to the channels I remember seeing it on a tender document for the FA Cup Final, will have to see if I can find it.

Maybe VM can get an app for Twitter's Periscope service?
