Update from my Virgin Media UK Sources.
The update on TiVo to the new look vod started last night to 50,000 customers.
My Virgin Media UK Sources say tonight that TiVo's going forward will have picture based menus.

It's about bleeding time , that's always been my main gripe with VM I hate the overly convoluted lists for On Demand.

Your "source" was a day early. 
TiVos in Stafford, Peterborough and part of Liverpool got the new software early this morning.

No other areas are planned to get this particular version. It's an early pilot to test new the VOD features. Once the rest of the features are added, they will be piloted in other regions (assuming the first pilot goes OK)

No mediaboy said he didn't know when they would all be done. I remember the last big update was done in bits. But it would be nice if somebody gets it they upload a YouTube video to show us, I know I will do if I get mine

Don't Netflix , Amazon , Sky and many more all use menu and On Demand systems with images ?
