Looking at this test series, was it a case of England improved a lot to beat Australia or a case of Australia not being the powerhouse they once were?

Home advantage is increasingly a even bigger factor in test cricket then it used to be and that certainly helped England as they could prepare pitches that suited them but alas when teams go away from home then they have to expect the same treatment with regards to the pitches being prepared for the home side.

Looking so good at close of play yesterday , now England look like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. |

Well, after getting hammered in the first ODI England have come back strongly and look poised to take the series 3-1. Buttler hits ODI record 100. |

Shaky start by England in the Test Match today. No way is Hales good enough to open, should have been Compton. Just as well for the rain, with Anderson injured I'd take a draw now.
Sack Cook too, he's rubbish at tosses.....

Do love a last wicket stand, but only if we're batting ! Disappointing morning but at 301-9 a reasonable score.

Steyn injured and Anderson back next Test. All looking good to beat the supposed no.1 side in the World on their own turf.
