Do you use more than one streaming service?

I'm curious to find out if my assumption is correct that those who use streaming services tend to use more than one provider.

I think (but not sure) posting links to such sites is against forum rules.

That doesn't include Kodi, as that is just a front end for viewing personally owned DVDs. It's links to certain addons to Kodi that facilitate the streaming of pirated content.

True, I can't see this thread lasting long on this forum. Unless we're talking about iplayer, youtube, Netflix, or Amazon, etc only which I doubt.

Personally I don't like streaming, too much hassle even with Kodi and quality / sound is generally pants. I had Netflix for 7 months, but only watched about 2 films because Tivo was just too slow for me to be bothered with it. I now have a Fire Stick with Amazon Prime but the contents apart from new series is pretty poo.

Re: Do you use more than one streaming service?

I have specified four, which are Netflix, Amazon Prime, Roku and Chromecast, which I think is how you might define it.

However, it should be noted that Roku, for example, gives you access to lots of other streaming services such as Now TV and All4, to name but two out of a heck of a lot more.

Other platforms such as my Smart TV, and even the TIVO, give access to more than one streaming service, so your question really needs to be defined better than this to provide a consistent approach to how those responding to this vote calculate the number of streaming services they use.

My usage is:

Tivo - Netflix, BBC i-Player, ITV Hub, All4, Demand 5, Sky Movies, Virgin Movies, You Tube, BBC News.

Smart TV - Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, BBC i-Player, ITV Hub, You Tube

Roku - Now TV, All4

Chromecast - Pluto TV

Although many more streaming channels are available on these platforms, these are my viewing habits, and I feel that I now have a splendid choice of viewing. So based on that, you could say that I use 12 separate streaming services over four separate platforms.

That's about the clearest summary I can provide!

My assumption was that the question excluded UK channel catch-up streaming services.

Yes, I meant things such as Roku, Now TV etc.

Thanks for the votes everybody. So far it seems that my suspicions are looking to be correct!
