It wouldn't surprise me if there was intransigence on various aspects from all three companies; Google, Apple and Amazon.

I keep coming across this kind of comment and figures of 30%

Amazon doesn’t want to pay Google every time we buy (or rent?) a movie in the Prime app. If Google won’t let them sell things without taking a cut, they won’t sell Google’s “competing” product. | Do Amazon do the same?

Amazon thinks it should be exempt from paying any kind of fee to be avaliable on the Apple and Google stores whilst charging considerable fees to anyone wanting to sell on the Amazon site.

 | They have two plans i think the first is the basic plan 75p per item, and the second is pro plan for heavy sellers which is £25p/m.
Then there is a referal fee between 7% - 45% depending on the item aka Amazon device accesories are 45% or 40p whichever is greater full list here http://services.amazon.co.uk/service...e/pricing.html |

I agree 30% is to high but sadly I can't see much change anytime soon in this area.

New apps for fire tv (usa) FXnow, watchabc.itvplayer(uk)
Amazon have finally started to step things up for firetv tv apps.
It's expected foxnow, cbs, nbc, all4, nowtv will begin rolling out after all boxes have the firmware update which is rolling out now.
