I cannot get the Virgin Meda home page
I am in the Thames Valley.

I cannot get the Virgin Media home page get my email from the web.

Yes I have tried Edge and IE 11, I have tried two desktops and on my laptop but still cannot get VM home page.

(Assuming a windows machine) open the command prompt (Start -> Run -> "cmd" -> OK, OR Start -> type "command" and select "command prompt" when it appears).

On the command prompt, type "ping www.virginmedia.com" without quotes, take a screenshot and post it here.

Then, on the command prompt, type "tracert www.virginmedia.com" and again do a screenshot and post here.

Well it seems your connection is ok. I'm not convinced that Edge and IE11 are different enough, can you try Chrome or Firefox?

They are very different. As different as IE11 is to Chrome.

The link that I had set up as my home page back in the Win 8 has worked just fine.

I have looked at Chrome and Firefox but it still cannot se the VM home page.

I did call VM and as luck would have I got a UK call centre who gave me a url to take me to the VM web mail page.

Looked the VM service status page this is the result
