Just as well I have my Roku, so I won't miss out, but this will be a frustrating time for those with VM only who have followed series one and two on ITV1.

The Americans S3 did appear on Virgin, just in NI though on RTE2. Up to ep 7 so far.

Well, different versions of BBC 1 at least.
It puzzles me as to why we don't get the BBC 2 variations as well.

Thanks for the info, theone...
Shame if it is just in SD, but hopefully VM have managed to secure the HD as well, this would be an added surprise....If they do, well played VM

It would make more sense of the £3 price hike for XL customers in September.

No idea whether it will or won't arrive however if it did wouldn't that go against BT's advertising of exclusive to BT customers after all BT Sport customers on Sky pay BT directly. On the VM platform the whole customer relationship is with VM no dealings whatsoever with BT.
Time will tell.

Very good point and very true, only one source has given me the information so far nothing from other sources but i am trying to find out more information.
My feeling is if it does show up on VM it will be in the XL pack possibly as a sweetner for none sport fans for the £3p/m price rise.
I will ofcourse post any further information i get but as it stands i'd say it's 50/50 chance of it being on VM.

I hope VM do get AMC, for Fear The Walking Dead alone. I remember BT Sport ads being exclusive to BT, until it launched on VM, so fingers crossed.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 2
If you look carefully at the wording of the press release it does read, to me at least, as if the launch is exclusive to BT not the channel, but it's very subjective how you interpret what has been said. It's cleverly ambiguous IMHO.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 2
I'd say that the relationship between BT and VM, on the TV front at least, is more cordial than their relationship with Sky and they appear to be open to working together.
With BT Sport there was no VM announcement until after the channels launched last year. What you may see is a similar event this time, with AMC Global launching exclusively on the BT platform at the end of August and maybe it appearing on Virgin a few days later as part of XL. Technically that would mean an exclusive launch for BT but carriage on VM within days.
And I'd expect AMC's top shows (Fear The Walking Dead, Rectify etc.) to be repeated extensively in the first week, so we may miss the first showing but not the first show (if you see what I mean).

I think with BT protesting about Sky's market dominance, it needs to come across as acting less aggressively and so will be more willing to do a deal with VM.
