Tried to play it on the Xbox One and thanks to no HOTAS support, I have given up on it until they implement if they ever do since, it's Frontier that have to implement it instead of the BS that they came out with saying it needs to be the HOTAS makers, who implement support.

On the pc I have not played it in ages, and currently I am sat downloading the latest update which is around 75% complete and has taken nearly 2 hours to get to that stage.

What is wrong with playing it on the Xbox controller? Even the game maker plays with that, i find it so natural.

If Damien is anything like me then i understand what he means. I have never had a games console because i cannot get my head around the ruddy game controllers. I much prefer keyboard, mouse, joystick and i have a head tracker which makes combat so much more interesting

How can Frontier implement support for something that doesn't exist for Xbox One?

Elite Dangerous on Xbox One will exit Preview and get released on October 6th.

Players ships and modules won't be carried over though but the cash value of those items will.

The GPP3 update has been released for Xbox One, bringing the game in line with PC/Mac 1.4 Beta 2.
