Superhub : Hidden second Router in Network?

I have a Synology DS415+ connected to a home network on Virgin Media VMDG490 superhub 2.

The Synology reports two routers on my network but all attempts to locate a second reveals nothing? I have switched off in the router UI all wireless (it has 2.4 and 5) in case this is the issue? Still have a second router somewhere?

The Synology suggests I run these 'two' routers in bridge mode but the Virgin Media VMDG490 has no such option only one to run in modem only mode which is obviously of no use.

Can a Network Uber Brain please give me some pointers to what the issue is and how to fix it?

Technically the super hub is two routers
Dual-band technology supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels
It runs 2.4GHz and 5GHz independently

Thanks Vanman. Yes I knew that but I do not get multiple devices (routers) reported. Would I get three reported?

VMDG490, wireless 2.4 and wireless 5?

This is why I switched off both wireless networks totally to eliminate wireless from the issue. Yet I still get two routers reported?

If it is still the (two) wireless bands each acting as a router then can they be bridged? Is that even possible?

I think this needs a real expert to throw light on where the second router is , what is it and how to bridge the two?

I don't think you need to be an expert. To some devices, the two wireless networks will appear as two separate routers. They're not, they're just two different endpoints to the same network.

You don't need to bridge them, they're already bridged on the Shub. Connect a device to the 5ghz network and it'll get an IP that can communicate with a device on the 2.4Ghz network. In fact, you can't have two devices with the same IP on each network, they're effectively the same network with two end points.
