Without fail every sunday evening from about 6pm our internet connection goes absolutely haywire. Pages wont load, streams freeze, error pages thrown up and occasionally the modem reboots etc.
Im wondering whether this is planned maintainence or not.
We've had peak-time congestion/utilisation since just before Christmas. For what it's worth, evenings can be good or bad depending on which way the wind's blowing - but Sunday nights especially are almost guaranteed to be bordering on unusable at times. I've long suspected that's VM's "peak" time for broadband usage.

When I used to have Virgin Media cable broadband and had high utilization on my segment, Sunday and Monday nights were terrible. For sure that was the busiest time of all. Even if I never touched my connection the TBB BQM had humps reaching into the 100's ms - Was awful.
