Yes, and interestingly we've had no VM flyers through the door for a while, only Sky ones - they do seem to be on acquisition-central at the moment. I do wonder whether VM are willing to compete on price with some customers upto (or downto?) a certain point but then will call bluffs and play the "grass may not be greener" card.

For me the grass was certainly greener but everyone has different experiences with different companies i think plusnet are the mutts nuts yet there are plenty of posts on forums complaining about them.
People think vm are the mutts nuts yet i hate vm with a passion lol.
It's all about finding what's right for your needs really.

In the US, there is a HD and +1 variant, do you think the UK will be getting them too?

If it's a FTA channel then it will be on YouView too so retail YouView boxes and those from TalkTalk and BT. It's normally only the pay TV channels on YouView that are referenced specifically to BT or TalkTalk.

We feel that Viacom are set to close MTV +1 on Sky from April 15th.
MTV +1 broadcast on sky channel 160 right now.

The first I was told was that Spike would be starting "about Easter", then 10 April was pencilled in as a provisional start date.
I think that 15 April sounds correct as a definate start date (even if it appears to have slipped by a few days) as from this date all non music programming has been moved from Viva.

There are no plans whatsoever to launch a HD variant; haven't heard anything one way or the other regarding a +1 variant. Personally, I doubt it.

If you're saying this because Sky have closed the SD launch queue, there are currently a fair few SD EPG slots going following recent channel closures.
