Accessing Recordings When Downgrading From XL to M TV

Hi

I have a Tivo which I will be keeping and will be downgrading from XL TV to M package at the start of March

Will I be able to watch all recordings previously made after the package downgrade date (even if they are for a channel that is no longer part of the M package) ?

I'm not sure if you get "locked out" of recordings from channels that are no longer part of your Virgin Media TV package after a downgrade

Grateful for any advice

When I removed Sky movies from my package I could no longer watch any of the movies I had recorded.

Downgraded from XL myself last week. SKY 1 shows in HD failed to play, an Air Crash on Nat Geo HD played fine as did an Alibi HD recording. So I would say any channel with SKY in the name cannot play HD variants of or even SD variants if not included in your package.

Correct - Sky channel recordings are restricted if you don't have the channel in your new package
