I have no idea Arthur. Hopefully as the mirror article suggests, we will find out by Wednesday.

The Daily Telegraph has an interesting report. How solid its information is at this stage, we don't know but: - It says says no packages were won on Friday!

- BT is unlikely to be satisfied unless it increases its current games by at least 18.

- BT and Sky were probably not the only bidders.

- The Sunday 4pm slot is the key one.

- Citing unnamed analysts, it says Sky losing the 4pm Sunday package could cost it a fifth of its profits and a third of its sports subscribers.

Good Daily Telegraph, rehashing the same stuff everyone else is!

The BBC are saying deadline is around lunchtime today.

I'm hearing sky and bt have kept the same but switched as BT have got the 4pm Sunday and sky the early Saturday. And a third party has got some rights

So basically BT will bump the prices up saying "but we have the Sunday game now you have to pay more for the Sunday game!!" And sky will say "price decrease? Definitely not we have the same amount of games" and this third organisation believed to be BEin will arrive and say "pay us a tenner if you want to see every game"

They'll all laugh heartily as scudamore the premier league chief removes his top and strips for money with all the morals of an alley cat

Quite a day ahead

From what l have ascertained this morning Sky have won the top 4 packages whilst BT have won the rest but then again it might be the other way round Vince.

Regardless of the packs BT win it'll be out the XL pack anyway in 18 months...

			http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...dding-war.html
The £4billion Premier League TV rights tender goes into a second round on Tuesday morning with revised bids due by midday. The seven packages are expected to be awarded later in the day.

Although the Discovery Channel and beIN Sport have shown interest, the most likely scenario is that Sky will retain four prime packages.

BT, meanwhile, will get an increased number of games, up to 56 out of the 168 live matches being sold per season for three years.
This is the latest information I have on this. Still speculation only on who is likely to come out on top.

I think beIN Sport will get a share of the games this time around.

lets hope not. it'll be a lose-lose situation for consumers if they have to pay 3 providers to watch football!

remember then ofcom stopped sky having all the packages saying it'd be better for the customer! what a rotten screwjob that was! the premier league must have paid ofcom!

I think you may have said that more in hope than anything else, Den!

Some reports are saying that beIN Sport are prepared to put a lot of money into this, so my bets would be on Sky Sports, BT and beIN Sport. I don't think Discovery will get a look in.

That's just my take on it.
