It's 5.99 Canadian dollars, so varies a bit with the exchange rate. It's often only £2.80.

I meant via the TiVo. If you log into the US Netflix site on a PC, is this then mirrored when you access your account via TiVo?

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
The implications of Vince Cable's latest initiative to create a single EU market for digital services are mind boggling. This will be good for the consumer in terms of streaming services like Netflix (although it's a pity that his proposals can't extend beyond the EU into America), but it also throws into question how this will affect football rights.
Could this drive down the prices for film rights?
Certainly plenty of food for thought here!
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/n...r-Netflix.html
Vince Cable will risk a clash with the film and music industries on Tuesday by calling for the creation of a single EU market for digital services such as Netflix.
The Business Secretary will say in a speech in Brussels that such services should offer the same content in all EU member states, for services paid for in one country to be available in the same form in all countries and for pricing offers to be replicated across the continent.
At present Netflix and Spotify, which operates a subscription streaming service for music, offers different catalogues at different prices depending on where the customer is located.
Harmonising such services across the EU would require copyright holders to change the way they license their material, which is currently carefully segmented for different geographic markets to maximise sales.
For instance, studios stagger cinema release dates to allow for translation and more efficient promotion, which means films are often available on Netflix at different times in different countries. Record labels often take a similar approach to major album releases.
The BBC is subject to similar rights restrictions that mean the iPlayer is not available abroad.
Mr Cable will claim that a single market could boost EU economies by €340bn.
He will say: “In today’s world of smartphones and Wi-Fi, consumers who have paid for a service rightly expect to be able to use it across borders in the EU.
“But at the moment we have a patchwork quilt of digital content and services - very good in some places but threadbare in others.
“That’s why I’m calling for the creation of a digital single market. Not only would this boost UK and eurozone economies by €340bn (£261bn) but it will make online prices fairer, enable start-ups to be formed within 24 hours, and help businesses sell throughout the EU.”
The speech will align Mr Cable with Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission, who has made the creation of a single market for digital services one of his top five policy priorities. He claims it will boost EU economies by only €250bn, however.
Mr Cable’s intervention is likely to infuriate Britain’s creative industries, who will see it as an attack on copyright and their livelihoods. Last week, Culture Secretary Sajid Javid praised their contribution as “one of our most powerful tools in driving growth, outperforming all other sectors of industry”.
Meanwhile, it is likely to be welcomed by internet giants such as Amazon, Apple and Google, which could more easily mount an attack on the pay-TV industry if rights were sold on a pan-European basis.
