Trutv is now on tvplayer which makes me wonder if VM are the issue as to why it isn't on VM.

Personally i'd find this occasionally useful for dealing with recording clashes.
Who owns this channel? Do they have any other channels that we are missing that might come at the same time (wasn't told that this would happen, but you never know).

Both Travel Channel +1 and Food Network +1 was on Smallworld.
Both Travel Channel and Food Network was launched on Virgin Media on June 18th 2013. So maybe Scripps are talking about new deal!

TV producers bid to save BBC Three Channel.
Two leading independent TV producers are to mount a £100m bid to buy the BBC3 TV channel, saving it from a move to online-only distribution.
Jon Thoday, joint managing director of Russell Howard’s Good News producer Avalon, and Jimmy Mulville, managing director of Hat Trick, the company behind Have I Got News For You, are expected to make a formal approach to BBC management in the near future.

The first stage in the privatisation of the BBC? Maybe in the future, the BBC will outsource all its channels and meet every 5 years for a tendering process. Will they ever let Murdoch in? The mind boggles!

I can't see the BBC wanting to do this or even if it would be possible. However, they may be forced to and any rules preventing this could be changed by this Government

A very worrying thought indeed.

I'm not sure if it's legal or not. I do know that some channels have taken action to stop TV Catch Up from rebroadcasting their material.

tvplayer is perfectly legal and they have agreements with their channels otherwise tbf Amazon wouldn't have it on their firetv.
TVCatchup also is perfectly legal and they have agreements in place with the networks, awhile ago they didn't have these agreements which is why they lost a lot of channels.
TVplayer went about things in the correct manner and got contracts in place with networks before they launched the channels on their service.

Oh right, didn't realise that TV Catch Up had sorted out their legalities.

I don't get how and why mtv aren't eager for all their channels to be on each television provider?
Mtv classic was a great channel too better than the rest of the rubbish bunch of mtv channels
