Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 1
If you look at the figures involving SA and Fibre broadband both Sky and Virgin have not gained that many customers in the last couple of years so personally l don't think its the pull that some would make you believe but that's only my opinion MM.

That's because the pay TV market has virtually reached saturation point and competition in the market has increased with many new players.
VM and Sky offer things such as speed increases , Sky Atlantic , TV Anywhere , Sky Go etc in the hope existing customers and potential new customers will think the packages represent even better value.
Look at the current connected market , smart TVs have done away with many of Sky and VM's key selling points such as Catch up TV , On Demand movies recordable features etc.

BizAsia says Geo Channels may launch on Virgin Media soon.
Media Boy HQ do not know of any UK Wide Channels launched set to happen - or is testing.
Base on info Media Boy HQ has seen only That's Solent is testing on Virgin Media right now for viewers in Southampton and surrounding areas.

Seems a little ironic Den, given how keen you have been to see it arrive.

Read this:

Is this something brewing up for VM?! They say TruTV is already available on Virgin.

I've left virgin despite them having the fastest broadband, it was down to costs and preference though.

In the link says it's already on virgin, maybe assumption by journalist or in fact it is coming next week. If I recall it was reported on DS that it was seen tested some while back so probably some truth in that

Can't see a reference to VM in the link, perhaps it's been removed??
I asked a contact about TruTV ages ago, not too long after it launched and was told "it'll be added soon". It was then found to be testing off the EPG, but since then......nothing!
