So far l have escaped any MRI scan's as they would need a ICD specialist to turn the device off during any scan and they are not prepared to do that at my local hospital as my heart treatment's all happen in London.

There are definite advantages to going to a bigger hospital.
I get most of my stuff done at addenbrookes now so it's good. My nearest hospital would be Bedford but I have had several bad things happen there.

Random resets on some energy meter firmware: Client reports tens of minutes to hours apart. This sort of thing can be a devil to reproduce. I've got the in-circuit debug pod attached and some breakpoints set in the places the code might go down to get a reset, I'm also running the communications link (Modbus RS485) fairly hard just to try and provoke it a bit. More or less what the client had set up.
Now just have to wait for it to (hopefully) stop on one of the breakpoints. Then I get a snapshot of the internal RAM and registers. I think I know what the cause is but I need to prove it.

Probably. I've had the postie round as late as 3pm. Usually more like 1ish.

First job offer I'm likely to be getting in a year and I may have to turn it down . No way of getting there for a half 5 start in the morning so unless they are willing to let me start at half six/seven then I will have to reject it. And likely take a sanction from the Jobcentre for it as well. Got to talk to them when I sign today.

They tend to deal with their most lucrative and business customers first nowadays thenry whilst most normal customers would be lucky if they get their post by 10 in the morning as we get ours generally around dinnertime now sadly.

Get our post around here between half 12 and 2. Although one day in August post came through the door at half past seven in the evening. Long after we had given up hope of getting the post that day.
