Re: Universal Channel
Reaction is a bit of an overstatement dear. Like local TV I don't know anyone that watches them so have always wondered how it is money value these channels keep going.

Re: Universal Channel
If I was asked - what do you want added to your TiVo line-up:
1: Sky Atlantic HD
2: Sky Universal HD
I would go for option 2.
I have both on my Sky box - but have never found anything on Sky Atlantic that lives up to the hype after 1 episode.
Often have Univeral on.

Really? So have you never watched Game of Thrones, True Detective ( which imo was stunning) Blue Bloods, Boardwalk Empire, Ray Donovan (another brilliant series imo) maybe you should try watching more than just one episode, you may be pleasantly surprised at the quality.

I watched the first series of game of thrones when it was on Sky1. I know I'm in a minority of one, but honestly I thought it was abysmal. I liked True Detective which I watched on Now TV, but I never got round to watching the last episode and I can't say I'm bothered about that. I haven't seen Boardwalk Empire but I don't know anybody who's stuck with it, mainly because of the pace, apparently. I've heard very good things about Ray Donovan, fwiw. Whilst I'm sure most recognise that there is some good stuff on Atlantic I think it really is only fair that you recognise that it's also not for everyone.

First one in bold, I cannot believe you didn't watch the last episode! and of course I agree that it's not for everyone, but in the main, they do show some great series imo.
