Re: Football Season 2014/15
But it will only be a big game, like a derby in Manchester, Merseyside and North London. Cannot see the game abroad being something like West Brom v Swansea.

The English Premier League is the English Premier League and as such all matches should be played in this country.

Exactly. No more games in Swansea! Seriously however the Premier League became a product a long time ago. If anyone still expects top-level football to be about the local fans rather than television and the global brand then this will help them wake up. You need to approach the Premier League for what it is, a commercial product for which you pay with your season ticket/subscription/shirt etc. I find the constant outrage every time the league suggests a plan to make money to be naive at best and disingenuous at worst.

Arsenal seem to have this injury crisis year after year.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
He shouldn't be playing out on the wing and theres a good argument that Cazorla has been playing better in the middle of the park.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Ozil has clearly been struggling to make an impact in this side but Wenger hasn't dropped him yet, probably hoping he plays though the bad form as Ramsey eventually did. Maybe a 3 month spell out of the team will help him come back stronger and clear his head a bit. Midfield is a position we have considerable strength in and, given our run of fixtures eases a bit now, we should be able to accommodate his absence.
Personally I am hoping to see the Ox play in the middle for a extended spell. Cazorla and Wilshere will see more starts as well.

Bar 1 game I haven't been impressed with Ox in the middle. I don't understand the hype around wanting him in that position.

UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino has confirmed the seeding system in the Champions League will be changed next season.
From the 2014/15 campaign, the holders plus champions from the top seven ranked European nations will be in pot one, meaning club co-efficients will not be taken into account for the top seeds.
