Video Driver issue i think
I have a small issue with playing videos either on my PC or on a website where now and then suddenly the PC will blue screen and perform a memory dump.
When reading the memory dump it always refers to the same 2 files.
atikmdag.sys atikmdag.sys+277ce fffff880`11856000 fffff880`12546000 0x00cf0000 0x52a23f6f 06/12/2013 22:19:43 ATI Radeon Family ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver 8.01.01.1360 Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. C:\Windows\system32\drivers\atikmdag.sys
and
dxgmms1.sys dxgmms1.sys+10127 fffff880`03504000 fffff880`0354a000 0x00046000 0x5164dc13 10/04/2013 04:27:15 Microsoft® Windows® Operating System DirectX Graphics MMS 6.1.7601.18126 (win7sp1_gdr.130409-1534) Microsoft Corporation C:\Windows\system32\drivers\dxgmms1.sys
I am posting this because i had two blue screens within minutes of one another because it doesn't seem to like the video on the Vine homepage.
anyone have any idea?

Re: Video Driver issue i think
Multiple screens by any chance? Also blue screening when alt tabbing or more commonly looking at or doing a specific thing.
Video driver is usually the cause but in my case it was moving from dual 290x to a Titan Black and had blue screens galore when alt tabbing or playing games. Stripping the AMD drivers seemed to do the trick up until this point. Would only occur when using multiple screens though. Not too educated on it so you'll probably get a better detailed answer from qas or zing wherever he's at.

Re: Video Driver issue i think
What graphics card did you have before the one you have now?
The ATIKMDAG error is related to AMD drivers, so it could be due to previous drivers installed on your pc.
Have you ran Driver Sweeper and got rid of all AMD GPU drivers and then reinstalled with the latest drivers for your card?

Re: Video Driver issue i think
How long have you had that graphics card fitted? My son's machine started throwing up errors because the heatsink was getting blocked causing overheats at times of hard processing.

Re: Video Driver issue i think
Card is about 3 and a half months old, temperature was hitting 56*c but i have manually adjusted fan and its not going above 43*c now and fan is set at 50%
I had a HD6670 before hand which the DVI port conked out but i have fitted a new drive with a new install of windows since so there were no previous drivers.
I have also changed the Power connector on the PSU feeding the card just incase but if u put that file name into google causing BSOD its like a rash so its a known problem.
