Frankly no. Our world view is not the same as the rest of the the UK. The BBC has a prism, this is very different from Scottish values. Countless internal BBC reports show how of all the nations in the UK, Scotland least likes the BBC. About 45% of the audience are positive about the BBC. Media isn't devolved, they've refused for years to have more broadcasting in Scotland.
If Westminster had been flexible and allowed federalism, we would not be where we are today, facing the breakup of the UK

So are you saying that what we see on Reporting Scotland in no way reflects Scottish news? Are you saying that what Reporting Scotland shows is down to what the BBC in England allows?

Yeah that's my fault lol. Although I maintain my primary question is more than legitimate for this thread.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2014) Vol. 3
So the next national channels coming to VM are:
- ITV Be (all-platform launch on 8 October)
- truTV (currently testing on VM per Sirius C on DigitalSpy)
- HD versions of Sky News and Sky Sports News HQ (early 2015 advised by Media Boy)
- A BT Sport red button service or extra channel (currently testing on VM as BT Sport Extra per Sirius C on DigitalSpy)
Sirius C also reported a hidden stream for BBC Alba was being tested.
Any more?

We're saving up our chat about ITV Be until next month, I assume that's the channel you're on about?

What ever has happened to this thread? I check in from time to time to see if Amazon Prime will become available or if it and Netflix might be added as inclusive to XL TV.

Technically we're all immigrants anyway. Anyway let's get this thread back on topic please, if anyone wishes to discuss Scotland, immigration please start a thread in the relevant section.
(this isn't aimed at you btw mobes lol i'm just using your post as a reply base )
New rumour has come to light taking it with a pinch of salt though FOX+24 is rumoured to be launching early 2015 on vm, sky and talktalk.
However talktalk don't have any + channels apart from their freeview channels so i'm very sceptical about this rumour but hey at least it's some kind of news lol.

2015 has been pencilled in for Amazon prime (rumoured) vm customers will be given a 6 month free trial for instant video only, similar to the Netflix promotion aka new customers or exsisting customers re-contracting etc.

How sure are you of this? The last I heard was that Virgin were making positive noises but Amazon were still contemplating their navels! I thought there were major technical issues to be sorted out first.
