Please do not watch the following film, it is total crap and I have no idea as to why I didn't switch it off after 5 minutes (or sooner)

			The Raid 2
 Awesome!

Longer than the first film, and without the fast pace.

But that's OK - it's not meant to be the same kind of film as the first.

This one is more like an Indonesian version of The Departed... but with added spectacular fight scenes.

It may not have the non-stop action of The Raid, but it's still very good and the fight scenes are just... amazing.

Cohesion 7/10 good film which is sort of predictable and very watchable.
I Frankenstein 7/10 another watchable film if passing the Mary Shelley book a tad to far.

Godzilla 4/10 Totally forgettable. 20 mins of Godzilla in 2 hours, most fight scenes were off camera which was very noticable, thin plot, not a lot happens. I could sum up the entire film in one short sentence but won't for spoilers.
The effects were quite good though.

 | I thought the opposite. By not showing too much of him throughout the film it builds suspense and makes the film better. I think people forget this and are spoiled by modern moves being all action. If you had seen the directors first movie called monsters you'd know what to expect.

It's Godzilla, surely you weren't expecting an amazing in depth story. I think they tried to make the plot more involved by including the family stuff to try and make you feel more emotion.

IMO this is the worst Godzilla movie of all. Even the early Godjira series were more entertaining.

I thought Monsters was no-budget trash and not worthy of marking.

Monsters was low budget but the director showed what you could achieve with very little money. It also proved that creating an atmosphere and suspense can be better than just destroying everything and just making it about the monster. It makes you think a bit more and that for me is a trick that most film makers have forgotten these days.
So you are saying the awful 90s Hollywood Godzilla was better than this?

 But thats just my opinion.
