I think the issue is they can't get the ones they want....so taking what they can get.

LVG likes a Robben type player on the wing and Di Maria fits that bill perfectly.

Dwight Yorke is going to have a nervous breakdown during HT analysis. The head honcho of absent fathers! He is so absent the situation doesn't even exist in his world. A bit like Tom Cleverley actually knowing how to play football.. doesn't exist.

Well one thing remains the same at MU and that is Ashley Young just loves to dive.

Arsène Wenger, is prepared to let Podolski leave the club but would prefer to replace him with another forward in the squad.
Wenger’s priorities, however, are to try to sign a new central defender and a defensive midfielder during the final week of the transfer window.
Arsenal are expected this week to make a bid for Sporting Lisbon’s £28 million-rated star William Carvalho after Carlo Ancelotti, the Real Madrid manager, claimed that Sami Khedira would stay in Spain. Ancelotti said: “Khedira is happy here and he is staying. The matter is resolved and he stays at Real Madrid.”
Arsenal hope to complete an £8 million deal to sign the Olympiakos central defender Kostas Manolas.

So Campbell will replace Pod. Not Reus
I don't know much about Carvalho to comment, he is though getting good reviews. I'm not fussed missing out on Khedira. I cannot comment on Manolas.

Hope Arsenal sign Manolas, Reid will stay with the hammers if so, with a bit of luck
