Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Well its certainly no bad thing improving things but that word copying springs to mind here in quite a few cases.

Isn't there a saying: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Sky admitting that the Virgin TIVO box had some good new features. Sky will be hoping their implementation works better with their bigger content library.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Apparently CEC-HDMI control is being activated on the Skyboxes too, so in theory you can control all your HDMI devices using one remote control

I like the multi format , it was a pain before with duplicates it rendered the most popular and featured sections virtually useless , now each asset has the option of download in SD or download in HD it makes it much less cluttered its good to see more catchup sections added now unlike at the start.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Cheers MM,
The update looks great, I just don't like the waiting game whilst Sky rollout the EPG.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
My main box was updated last night, I had a quick look this morning before work and I must say that Sky continue to impress me! I don't know how they cram so much into a 8 year old box without it ever slowing down. The new movie layout in particular looks very nice

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
It certainly is. I was checking out the Sports tab before the Champions League games tonight. Great to have all the live games all in one place!
I will look forward to whatever Sky have in stall for us next. Hopefully a 4K Ultra HD box
